Using this website
You may use this website to browse and buy for yourself or as a gift. Please do not misuse it — for example by trying to access parts of the site or other people’s accounts that are not yours, or by submitting false order or payment details. We may cancel an order or close an account that does so.
Your account
You can order as a guest or with an account. If you create an account, keep your password private; you are responsible for orders placed through it. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Products and pictures
We describe every piece as accurately as we can. Colours can look slightly different because of lighting, photography and screen settings, and handmade or hand-finished garments can vary a little in measurement. Please check the size chart and measurements before ordering.
Photographs in banners, the lookbook and other editorial sections of this website show a style or occasion. They are not pictures of a particular product for sale. What you order is the item shown on its own product page.
Prices
All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). The delivery charge is shown at checkout before you confirm your order, and the price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. If a product was listed at an obviously wrong price, or turns out to be unavailable after you ordered it, we will contact you before sending it. You may then cancel that item, and any amount you paid for it will be refunded.
Orders and payment
Orders are paid through bKash. At checkout you can choose one of two options:
- Pay the full amount by bKash, or
- Pay the delivery charge by bKash now (currently ৳80 inside Dhaka and ৳150 outside Dhaka) and pay the rest in cash to the courier on delivery. Orders outside Dhaka also pay a ৳500 deposit with this advance. It is not an extra charge: it is taken off the cash you pay on delivery.
After paying, submit your bKash Transaction ID (TrxID) and the last 4 digits of the sending number on your order page. We check every payment against our bKash Merchant account before your order is sent to the courier. An order without a transaction ID within 60 minutes is cancelled automatically.
Placing an order reserves the pieces in it. If the order is cancelled, they go back on sale.
Delivery
Delivery usually takes 1–3 business days inside Dhaka, 3–5 business days outside Dhaka. See our Delivery Information page for charges and coverage. Parcels are delivered by our courier partner. Please make sure someone is available to receive the parcel and pay any balance due.
Cancelling an order
If you want to cancel, contact us as soon as possible. An order that has not yet been handed to the courier can be cancelled; we will tell you the options for any amount you have already paid.
Exchanges and returns
Exchanges and returns are handled under our Exchange & Return Policy.
Intellectual property
The text, product photography, logo and design of this website belong to Exclusive Closet BD, except editorial photographs used under licence (for example from Unsplash). Please do not copy them for commercial use without our permission.
Our responsibility
To the extent the laws of Bangladesh allow, our responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a disagreement cannot be settled by talking to us, it will be dealt with by the courts of Dhaka.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
